Two Day Advanced Class

The two day advanced class builds on, and expands what was taught during the Equissage program. Our two day advanced program includes:

 

Day One:

One step further into Sports Massage. Learn the exact Stress point that will enable you to release an entire muscle group. We will continue on with trigger point therapy to deactivate any point of irritability. This is a simple but extremely affective technique. We will surely be putting Jack Meaghers's book to extensive use.

 

Then our time will continue on with special treatment for the origin and insertion of the muscles (tendons) and why this is so important to include them into our practice. We will learn simple ways on how to find them and how to treat them so that they too can release.

 

Day Two

 

Although some were taught in the first week we move on to the second level.

 

• Introduction to Myofacial Release:

           Superficial

           Deep 

• Introduction to Kinesio Taping

 

• Also included:

 

      TMJS

      Swedish massage techniques

 

     Joint Mobilization and Stretching ; 

          Extremely useful for those hard to reach places.

 

     Essential oils; 

          What role do they play in a body workers toolbox?

 

 

Every day there will be sufficient time with hands on to develop your new found skills.

 

 

The cost for this 2-day course is $595.00 with a deposit of $200 due at registration.
